KPSPL has acquired Modern India Con-Cast Limited as a going concern from NCLT by auction process. Main reason to make acquisition of this company was to expand into Ferro-Manganese and Silica-Manganese segments by using the manganese ore from our own Silijora-Kalimati mines. The company has 6x9 MVA SAF producing Iron-Silicon and Silicon Manganese plant in Haldia, West Bengal. The revamping work is under progress and expected the commercial production in acouple of months.
